Every session has a reduced capacity, creating a calmer environment where children and adults can relax, connect and enjoy quality time together.

We don't run dedicated SEND sessions because every session is designed to be welcoming and inclusive. With both lived experience and professional training in supporting children and young people with SEND, we strive to create an environment where every child and family feels safe, understood and free to play in their own unique way.

We're always learning and improving. While we know we won't get everything perfect, we genuinely welcome feedback and will always listen, reflect and make changes wherever we can to ensure Sensory Haven continues to be a place where everyone feels welcome.

Before You Visit

Our shared play space sessions are suitable for children aged 0–10 years. Babies are very welcome, although we do not have a dedicated baby area.

We understand that children aged 10+ may still enjoy our play space. That's why we offer private venue hire, which includes exclusive use of both our play space and sensory room for all ages (excluding the wooden roller slide due to its weight limit).

All bookings for our play space are allocated a table

Our brand-new UV Glow Room within our play space adds even more to explore, while our session capacity remains the same—giving everyone more space to play and enjoy the experience.

In addition to our play space we have a private sensory room that can be booked and is suitable for all ages, including adults.(Please see sensory room tab for more information)
